The talented Brahmin from Kannada film industry Upendra is more known in TFI as Pichi Maharaj for his psychic storylines. The aberrations in his direction, intelligence in crafting the dress designs, confusing movie titles, punching dialogues and fast paced narration with satires on society in his movies from 'Ssshhh' to recent release 'Super' shows the raising of a Super Star Uppi. The high talent in Upendra has come out again in the super hit flick 'Super' with Nayantara which is getting ready for dubbed version in Telugu. It is the same mind teasing storyline from Upendra made 'Super' touch the hearts of Kannada audience. The shocking response and enthusiasm from Telugu people for 'Super' is encouraging Uppi to make many more films and he was recently in Hyderabad to release the audio. Nayan & Venky’s third female titled film!

Nayantara seems to be following ‘Make hay when the sun shines’ and so grabbing every project that comes her way. Recently, she was roped in for Sita role in ‘Sri Rama Rajyam’ opposite Bala Krishna. Now the lady has bagged the role opposite Venkatesh in the film, ‘Savitri’. This is the third female titled film in their combination. Earlier the duo was seen in films ‘Lakshmi’ and ‘Tulasi’.

Though Trisha was considered for the role initially, finally Nayan seems to have grabbed the project. Savitri will be directed by Teja and produced by Suresh Productions banner. The movie will hit the floors from January 2011.
