Collection King Mohanbabu to remake ‘SSAC’

One had to need guts to remake the classics of yesteryears. Though producers like Ramanaidu and Aswinidutt had announced that they had ideas to remake films like ‘Patala Bhairavi, Gundamma Katha and Jagadeka Veerudu Atiloka Sundari’, they are yet to be translated into actions.
The latest information from the Tollywood is that Mohanbabu, who had produced more than 50 films on his own banner is planning to remake the yesteryears’ classic ‘Sahasra Siratchedha Apoorva Chintamani’ and got the title registered with the Film Chamber recently.
The original film which was produced in 1960 had several interesting elements like drama, action and romance. SD Lal had directed the original while stalwarts like Kanta Rao, Devika, Rajanala, Gummadi, Girija and others were in the cast.
Let us wait and watch how far Mohanbabu would stand by his word and remake the film on the banner of Sri Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures.

Is Mahesh back in 3-Idiots?

Looks like finalizing the cast of 3-Idiots has become the most tuff job for mega director Shankar and Gemini Film Circuit team. While the reports almost confirmed that Surya has been roped in for both Tamil and Telugu versions of the film, the re-entry of kollywood star Vijay in Tamil version left everyone in surprise.

Now, there is also a buzz in Tollywood circles that Mahesh is back into the Telugu versions. While there is still no official confirmation from Gemini Film Circuit regarding the cast of Telugu version, few scenes on other finalized cast Jeeva, Srikanth, Sathyaraj and female lead Ileana are being canned currently at Ooty.

Is Mahesh back in Telugu version of the film? Either Gemini Film Circuit team or Mahesh has to confirm this news yet.

Mahesh Dookudu next schedule in Gujarat

Mahesh starrer Dookudu under the direction of Srinu Vaitla has completed its current schedule at Hyderabad. The next schedule of the film will commence from 1^st February at Gujarat. Earlier Dookudu has completed its schedules at Hyderabad, Turkey and Malaysia.

Samantha is pairing opposite Mahesh in the film. Being produced by Anil Sunkara under the banner 14 Reels entertainment, the film has music by Thaman. After Dookudu gets wrapped up, Mahesh will join the sets of Puri Jagannath’s film titled The Business Man.
