One of the latest hot news in the malayalam film industry is that Malayalam actress Kavya Madhavan, who got married to Nischal Chandran at Kollur Mookambika on 5th February 2009 is heading for a divorce. There is no official confirmation about this from Kavya's family but it is a fact that Kavya who joined her husband in Kuwait is now back in Kochi and is staying with her parents. It's also hearing that Kavya has requested the advice of a leading lawyer from Kochi. She was however advised to live separately for one year to even move the papers for divorce.
According to the actress and her family, she has been cheated in marriage and they also reveals that Nischal, a failed actor and his mother were torturing Kavya mentally, alleging that she had an affair with a top Malayalam actor, which led to the split.It should be remembered that Kavya got married to Nischal when she was at the peak of her career. Her first film was as a child artist in Mammootty's Azhagiya Ravanan and her last release was also opposite Mammootty in Pattanathil Bhootam, which is running in the major centers all across Kerala.
