QUÉ PUEDO DECIR de STEVE HACKET, como se habràn percatado lo admiro, y no necesita ninguna introducción. Él es definitivamente uno de los guitarristas principales de este siglo. Ex-GÉNESIS, él ahora es una fuerza importante en el dominio de la música que compone para su guitarra, abarcando desde el Rock, jazz, hasta lo clàsico. Steve es un músico complejo, influenciado de una variedad amplia de estilos, realiza composiciones estupendas. Su música se ha desarrollado a travès de los años, la que sigue vigente con material bastante bueno.

HACKETT se uniò a GENESIS como guitarrista a principios de 1971 substituyendo a Anthony PHILLIPS, permaneciendo en el grupo hasta el año 1977, en donde su fama se extendiò en todos los diletantes de GENESIS.

La principal discografìa es la siguiente, sin embargo, existen un par de trabajos en DVD, que han salido publicados junto a un cd, tal es el caso de Somewhere in South America..Live in Buenos Aires y Hungarian Horizons, Live in Budapest
